Wader Size Chart: Match Girth, Length, and Stockingfoot Together
A wader size must match girth, body length and the stockingfoot range in the same chart row. Do not choose the body by one row and silently borrow the feet from another. This reference uses the current men’s chest-stockingfoot chart displayed on Simms’ G3 Guide product page, not a universal chart for all brands or constructions.
The selector accepts measurements you already have in the manufacturer’s required form. It does not teach a measuring procedure or replace Simms’ measurement guidance. Its result is a chart match to confirm, with model availability still to check; a size listed in the full chart may not be offered for the exact wader you want.

Match existing dimensions to one chart row
Use the stockingfoot-size numbering shown in the table. Only body dimensions convert between inches and centimeters; UK/EU shoe sizes are not converted. No match means unresolved, not “size up.”
Keep size, length and feet together

Resolve a conflicting measurement without forcing a size
At 40 in girth, 36 in crotch-to-floor and stockingfoot number 10, the chart’s “Medium 9-11 Long” row matches all three inputs. The M 9-11 Regular row has the same girth and foot range but a 33–34 in length range, so it does not match that 36 in input.
If the same person enters stockingfoot number 12, no row with that 39–40 in girth range matches all three fields. The selector shows the conflicting rows instead of assigning a larger body automatically. A larger-foot option elsewhere in the chart does not establish that its different body range fits you.
An input between the printed intervals also stays unresolved. For example, 40.5 in does not fall inside either a 39–40 or a 41–42 in interval. The tool does not stretch a published boundary, interpolate a half-size or invent ease allowances.
Use the measurement that the chart asks for
The source asks for largest girth first, followed by length and stockingfoot size. Keep a measurement supplied as “crotch to floor” in that form; a trouser-tag inseam is not automatically the same quantity. If you do not have the requested measurement, return to the manufacturer’s fit guidance before entering a substitute.
The current page also contains pant-wader and bootfoot tables. They are excluded from this selector. A pant waist range, an attached-boot size and a neoprene stockingfoot label are different fields. Choose the construction first and keep its chart with the purchase.
Confirm the actual product offering and fit
The full Simms chart explicitly covers more size choices than every individual model offers. A returned match therefore means “these inputs share a published row,” not “this exact product is available and guaranteed to fit.” Rows marked custom-only keep that flag in both the tool and download.
Confirm the precise size option, layering and movement fit with the maker or seller. Check the separately sold wading boot’s own sizing guidance instead of applying an automatic “add one size” rule. If your foot and body requirements still conflict, ask about that exact model’s available options rather than accepting a false match.
